On January 23rd, 2015 @carr2n tweeted: Finally, an essay worth giving a fuck about. (insert my surprise Emoji face here) lmao it was written by Mark Manson titled: " The subtle art of not giving a fuck" Lmao, it was great . So seriously , wtf with this week in journalism?? Woke up this a.m. and felt a void , yes that of not seeing on my TL tweets from the great journalist that is/was David Carr of the New York Times. See , I first encountered David when watching the movie Page One, focused on various journalists/editors at that time, and David really stood out to me at least. I don't necessarily agree that he was "the star" like many ppl mention. But I wanted to know more about him , so I did what I always do started following him on Twitter and yes I added his book to my Amazon wish list.
David indeed you will be missed, great that the NY Times decided to feature you on their cover page today , as you rightfully so deserve. Aggggh I cant stand grieving, we dont grieve we cope. Never underestimate the power of words. \
Speaking of words, since my gf Iggy was robbed at the Grammys, I was going to make this post about her and the tune that I'm totally hooked to: We in This Bitch , I will highlight the parts that I can relate to. Iggy was all over the news this week about here Papa Johns incident where the delivery guy texted her , is this really your number, is this really Iggy. Hell yeah I would have texted her too as a fan! Ha! Oh and like many other things I did research and no video of this yet , but I did find some interesting ppl on You Tube singing this and actually playing drums to it!!
And due to recent events , I pretty much feel that "We in this Bitch" together world.
